Moving Grief in The Body ~

An embodied grief ritual

Sunday, November 3rd

5pm -7pm

Join Maggie Converse, grief companion & death midwife, for a grief ritual to honor love and loss.

Through ritual, gentle movement, somatic practices, journaling and more ~ Moving Grief invites you to embody the medicine of your grief.

In Moving Grief we gather to witness and hold space for our personal and collective griefs through movement, journaling and sharing.

All griefs are welcomed in this space, however if you feel uncertain or have questions, please contact Maggie at maggie@maggieconverse.com

Grief resides in our bodies. When we take the time to move and allow grief to move, trusting in grief's process, grief becomes less intimidating - especially when alchemized together. We then learn how to live with the medicine and wisdom that comes from being present with our grief.

In Moving Grief in The Body …

  • you will have an opportunity to check in and share about your intention and grief

  • you will be invited through ritual honoring grief

  • you will be invited through moments of movement & rest

  • you will be invited to follow your wise body

  • you will be invited to attune to your intuition

  • you will have the opportunity to journal and take note of what comes forward

Your body knows when to rest, when to go easy, when to amp it up. We need the space and time to remember how to listen and attune to our wise spirits, bodies, minds and hearts.
